💡 Grammar Tip

Unlike most Portuguese adjectives, rosa is invariable:

  • um carro rosa – a pink car

  • uma casa rosa – a pink house

  • uns balões rosa – some pink balloons

In Portugal, you may also hear cor-de-rosa, which is slightly more traditional but means the same thing.
